Grady Cook
Grady serves as an Elder at Canton Bible Church. He is married to Nancy, and they have 2 adult children living in the Atlanta area. Grady is a semi-retired commercial contractor, now focusing on construction materials distribution and consulting. Grady enjoys anything outdoors and working with his hands.
David Thompson
David is a founding elder of Canton Bible Church, overseeing the shepherding groups and children's ministry. David and his wife Terry have 3 grown children. In addition to serving Canton Bible Church as an elder, David oversees engineered solutions for an industrial packaging company. David enjoys spending time outdoors, and especially with his 7 (soon to be 8) grandchildren.
JohnDavid Thompson
JohnDavid serves as the preacher for Canton Bible Church. JohnDavid attended The Master's Seminary in Los Angeles, CA where he earned his M.Div. (2010), Th.M. (2012), and Ph.D. in Old Testament (2016). JohnDavid and his wife, Elyse, have been blessed with four children. In addition to serving Canton Bible Church, JohnDavid works for a lighting and energy services company and is involved in business development and project operations.
David Kemp (Founding Elder) - March 3, 1959 – June 20, 2023
David was one of the founding elders of Canton Bible Church and led the Sunday morning adult bible study class. David was married to Sherree and has 5 adult daughters and many grandchildren. David was a Georgia Tech graduate and professional engineer. In addition to serving Canton Bible Church, David helped found a national energy service company. You may read his full obituary here.
